I retired November 1, 2001, from Verizon (C&P Telephone of Va, C&P Headquarters, Bell Atlantic of Va, and Bell Atlantic. Same company! They just can't seem to settle on a name). My main responsibility was providing staff and management support for the Verizon computer systems located in the Mid-Atlantic States. | |||

I served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965 as a heavy ground radar repairman. My primary assignment was at a radar squadron near Manassas, Virginia. One of the radar units I maintained was an FPS-6A Height Finder radar, similar to the one illustrated here. | |||
