The "Friend to Friend" Masonic Memorial, by Artist Ron Tunison, depicts the
wounded C.S.A. General Armistead being attended by U.S.A. Captain Bingham.
Both Armistead and Bingham were members of the Masonic Order. General
Armistead was a member of the Alexandria-Washington Lodge, No. 22 in
Alexandria, Virginia. The Statue was commissioned by the Grand Lodge of
Pennsylvania.
